After finishing 3rd in the $200 tournament on 888Poker, I decided to check out how the slots work on that platform... and I got the picture. What I had won, I gave back."So you shouldn't try it either, because as I've said in various threads, it's a blatant scam!

Slots are not a scam. Slots are entertainment for reasonable people who want to have a good time 🙂
For example, you decided to play slots, and it was your decision. No one called you about it or persuaded you to play, no one forced you. So, you voluntarily decided to spend your money. Now that you've spent it, you call it a scam. Have you even thought about your behaviour?

I think Lena has a point there bro You are a very good poker player, why do you go waste your money on something you have 0 control on?
I don't think there's anything wrong with playing a little Slots to have fun, but that fun shouldn't not be expensive

Yep. Sorry. My mom’s friend lost her husband. Life insurance paid 250k. She went on a bender for 4 months and lost all of it.

Very sad. casinos don’t complain.

When you see the reels spinning and no winnings appear—except for a rare, minor one—you can say it's not entertainment, it's a scam! I'm not necessarily looking to win, just to have fun, but not like this... I felt like I was robbed!

"because as I've said in various threads"I knew it, but I didn't think it could be so obvious—losing dozens of spins without even a small win!

"Dear friends! Don't get me wrong—it's not about losing a small amount of money, but about how the fun turns into disgust toward a platform clearly designed to profit at the players' expense, without offering any real entertainment!

Beating the casino in the long run is extremely difficult. Casinos have a mathematical advantage in most games, meaning they will always make a profit over time.

I don't want to beat the casino, I just want to have fun—but not in a way where the slots give you almost nothing, with tiny wins that are even less than what you invested! Watching your money vanish without even hitting something that makes you feel good is unthinkable, and I emphasize that this is outright deception, not entertainment!

Casinos don't exist to give away money, they exist to take it from you.

I still play them. I have a bit of income I can blow on entertainment. So why not? There is not much for entertainment here in Belize.

Man slots is for fun not for money
You never understood that we’re not playing for money? It’s entertainment with money! That’s possible too. But to play for nothing and not catch even a little something after dozens of spins doesn’t seem fun to me on 888Poker!

About the scam part, yes, I can only agree. Slots are the biggest scam in any casino and have been forever.
But the feeling of having been robbed! I think at that moment, as we all do after a stupid mistake, you felt so pissed off at yourself , that's all.

I think you kinda scammed yourself..., it's probably a good decision for you to not play slots anymore👍

You didn't understand! I no longer play slots on 888Poker!

Yeah, I’ve seen that happen a lot. Slots can drain your winnings fast — best to stay away and stick to poker.

I get your frustration, but it’s probably just how slots work, they always have a high house edge. Better to stick with poker if that’s where you do well.

I can't say anything bad about the slots at 888, although I prefer to play roulette in this poker room. Among the slots at 888, I really like the Skratch slot about a leprechaun. Basically, I used free spins from the daily promotion, and I won $5 from two spins of $0.10 each. 😏

My friend, you would never feel the way you do if you played disciplined and stuck to bankroll management. If, for example, you spent 1% or 2% of your bankroll, you would never feel so much negativity and disgust. If, for example, your bankroll for slots was $1,000 and you spent $10 or $20 in one evening, it would just be an unlucky session for you 🙂
