This is my most valued chip from vegas.(5 dallor chip now worth 50.00) I should of got a bunch of them 🙁

In 1993 I went for my 21st birthday and I played craps for the first time and they gave me this chip.

Its the 1993 grande opening limited edition of the MGM Grand casino.

Love to see anyones casino chips and story's

I got a limited edition $5 poker chip. Since I got it last July, it's probably not worth much now. But in time, who knows?

i've seen alot of older limited edition chips and they went up about a dollar. My MGM chip is from the grand opening thats why its worth more than limited edition chips from around the same time.

But maybe double the years of my chips age then it might be worth 50 .

I gather chips for my dad who has a big collection. What are you after?
 
I have 4 old ones from the late 1890's and early 1900's. Not much of a collection and I don't actively search for them, they were gifts. I do keep a $1 chip from every casino I play poker at.
 
I keep a $1 chip from all the places I've been. I'm up to about 40 chips now.

Thats pretty cool keepin $1 chips. I'll start doing it 😀

In my local casino i've seen ppl who have won local tournies they've also won special card protecters (it's like a chip but its metal) and it has Newcastle Aspers Casino on it. I want one so bad but they've stopped doing them now. BOOOO!!!

I'm a member of CC&GTCC. I collect mostly $1 chips from Nevada and California casinos/card rooms..I have over 1,000 chips.

Just was wondering if there are any members or chip collectors on this Forum..
 
I’ve never played craps. I imagine the live game is far more exciting than the online version. I hope to give it a go one day too.

Unfortunately, I have never kept any chip from any casino I've been to.

Its a post from 18 years ago and u are answering to someone who was last active here 15 years ago 👍

They moved some very old threads to the casino section for whatever reason.
