Hello friends, do you consider gambling to be bad, even if someone is winning a lot of money in the casino? Or is it only bad when someone is constantly losing a lot of money?

It becomes a problem when a person loses control. In most cases, a game that the player does not control quickly escalates into an addiction that controls the player.

I think the word problem in your thread title gives the answer away.

If it's a problem, of course it is bad.

Halo teman-teman, apakah kalian menganggap judi itu buruk, meskipun seseorang memenangkan banyak uang di kasino? Atau judi hanya buruk jika seseorang terus-menerus kehilangan banyak uang?
Not only in gambling, everything that is done excessively can be said to be bad.

It is always bad if a player spends more than they can afford. That is precisely what leads to serious problems.

Yes, gambling is considered risky, especially if you have little capital.

I held pocket Aces and didn't go all-in pre-flop. The flop came 7-9-4; I bet half the pot, and my opponent called with 7-9—I got bad-beated.

Problem gambling can cause serious harm when it affects your money, relationships, or daily life. The tricky part is knowing when fun turns into a problem.

Gambling is not inherently bad for everyone, as many people can treat it as a casual, controlled form of entertainment, but it carries severe risks of addiction, financial ruin, and mental health challenges

Your title says Is problem gambling bad!
If you’re not sure, then Non-Problematic Gambling can be Good!

Everything can be 'good' or 'bad' - I guess it depends a lot on each individual and their perspective on life in general... Regarding gambling in casinos - I'm a recreational player that enjoys going to my local Casino a few times per year and I have to say that over the years I've seen quite a few people losing control and ending-up in tough spots* financially, relationships with friends/family... So in this situation/s it can be considered 'bad' and tbh it looks like people in general have more difficulties to control themselves/their emotions when gambling (there's money involved in an environment where there's alcohol and other external factors too), so I can agree that Casinos (even gambling), can be considered a problem... still, there are so many other things that are close to it if not even creating more issues in our society that people decide to mostly ignore or at least not have such a bad opinion about... At the end of the day nobody forces us to participate in this 'bad activities', so we can all make the right decisions that will hopefully push us towards having a positive life 🙂

If someone is unable to play within their limits then they have a problem whether winning or losing.
