Roulette wheel numbers

I think it is to prevent the cheaters to know in advance around where the ball will fall.

Example: Betting the low or middle numbers would be predictable.

Nowadays I don't think wheel arranging in numerical order would matter but before modern wheels it would probably turn recreational player into wheel bias observing hawk. Roulette was created by The Devil (literally) and he is master of leading people astray. He won't give any chances for someone to beat it.

Haha that wheel above is so funny. Im wondering if that also exist for the American version with two zeros? Asking for a friend.

I always wondered about that too. 😄 The numbers are deliberately arranged in a specific pattern to distribute high and low numbers and red and black more evenly around the wheel. It helps create the balanced layout roulette is known for, rather than just putting them in numerical order.

Though the arrangement of the numbers, odd/even and black/red seem to be chaotic on the roulette wheel, it is the best possible way to ensure fairness and integrity, based on Blaise Pascal's 1st design.

I know The Devil personally, and he told me he had nothing to do with creating Roulette. Dev as I like to call him is a nice guy and wouldn't lie to me. 😈

I rarely bet on numbers. My intuition isn't that finely tuned. I mostly bet on black or red, or even or odd.

Mostly to prevent people from exploiting physical flaws in the wheel. If numbers were sequential, you could just bet a single section of the wheel and cover all the low high or red black numbers at once. The random order forces a balance so redblack and high low alternate properly across the whole wheel.
