I’ve noticed Sic Bo players often watch the recent results and start looking for patterns before placing the next bet. I know past rolls don’t change the next one, but it’s still tempting to follow a trend. Do you usually ignore the history or use it when betting?

I take history into account, even though I realize it doesn't actually influence anything. It just makes it easier for me to make my choice.

I get that. Even knowing it doesn’t matter, seeing the recent rolls can still make the choice feel easier.

I certainly take history into account, but I can interpret it in very different ways, depending on my mood.

I get that. Your mood can definitely change how you look at the same results, even when you know they don’t really mean anything.

I also love patterns and pay attention to them, although I certainly understand that this doesn't guarantee a successful outcome.

Same here, patterns are fun to watch even when you know they don’t really tell you what’s coming next.

That same context applies to many other forms of gambling, especially in roulette. But in reality, it's only in the gambler's head that patterns start taking place.

True, I think our brains just love finding patterns, even when the rolls are completely random.
