Slots - any skill needed?

You need to have a very strong wrist mix with some fleixble fingers that will help you in your clicking journey to bankrupty.

I don't believe there is any skill with slots. Presumably slot tournaments add a competitive edge to add a bit of extra fun; I can sort of see the attraction of them!

Skill? Yeah, sure — if you count timing your “spin” click between sips of beer as a skill. 😉
You don’t need strategy, math, or reads — just nerves of steel when the bonus teases you with two scatters and laughs in your face.

I think that if you are a responsible player, all you need is minimal knowledge of the game and minimal skills. That's enough. If you play responsibly and don't spend more than your bankroll management allows, then you are a player who can have really good prospects.

You can manage how much you will lose, say you decide if I lose half of my money I will walk away if I double my money I will also walk away with a profit and not fall victim to putting it all back in. That's how I would do it.

It's a shame you can't read the reels, like I did as a kid, knowing exactly how many nudges I needed for the jackpot or at least the biggest payout. Those were the day's. I once made a £9 profit from just 2p, 😔

You don't need any skill, you just have to decide how much money you want to spend, and sometimes if you're lucky you can even win.

The main thing is to know how to press the button. If you have this skill, then everything is fine.

The only skill a slot player really needs is the ability not to spend more than planned 🙂

I think basic skills are necessary, of course. A player who doesn't understand what's going on in the game is more likely to lose money faster than a player who at least has some understanding of what they're doing. But I think the main thing is your attitude towards the game. Players who view gambling as entertainment are more likely to succeed than any other players.

I think so, because sometimes when you lose a lot you have to have the ability to control your emotions and also know when to stop so that you don't end up bankrupt.

You definitely need to have certain skills. First of all, you need to be able to count, at least up to 20, so that you can count the free spins that you are unlikely to get. In addition, you need to be able to read, even syllable by syllable, to read the terms and conditions for free spins, which you are unlikely to get. And of course, you need to be able to call a taxi so that when you lose all your money, you don't have to walk home.

Slot machines are programmed robots for taking or giving away money over a long period of time. This means that only luck will help you get to the right place at the right time.

Choosing the right slot machine is crucial to enjoying the game. Consider factors such as the number of lines and reels, return to player (RTP), and bonus features. Paylines and reels determine the number of winning combinations, while RTP represents the expected percentage of the wagered amount that is returned to players over time. Volatility indicates the risk and frequency of wins, and bonus features can significantly increase your chances of winning big.

10-20 minutes of play is enough to master any slot machine. You can acquire the skills you need quite quickly. But I think it depends more on how disciplined a player you are, because in my opinion, discipline in gambling is more important than skill.

I think there’s little skill in the actual spins, but bankroll control and knowing when to stop still take some discipline.
