You can get familiar with the features, yes. But don't think that the wins come in the same frequency as in the real deal.

First thing I check is if the site has a license as this isn't just about it being available in your country, but it also checks things like number generators/software etc. to make sure everything is good and fair for customers...

As a recreational Casino player, I like to check the info of the game/platform and even use the demo function if available to get some idea about it- I mean it's tough to win in the Casino and we should at least have some fun playing something we like... I'm also more likely to play on a site that looks 'clean'/ easy to use/without translation issues(especially for TCs that might affect our results* for example in case of bonuses...), also how well and fast the games perform is an important factor for me too...
