Is there actually any strategy to slots, or is it 100% luck?

I’ve been reading a lot online lately about slot machine strategies. Some people say to "warm-up" spins, switching machines after a big hit, or only playing at certain times of the day. Others say it’s completely random because of the RNG software and none of that matters.

Personally, I’ve always just picked a machine that looks fun and hoped for the best, but I’ve had days where it feels like certain machines are definitely "hotter" than others.

Do you guys believe in any kind of slot strategy, or do you think it's all just a myth? How do you choose which machine to sit down at?

I believe in bankroll management, in the proper management of a player's financial resources. And I believe that it is through such proper management that a player can increase their chances of good results in the long term.

TLDR: The opportunities exist but they're infrequent and you need to know what to look for.

Don't get scammed buying courses and secrets. Everything you need to know can be found with some diligence.

That said, the more you know the less fun it will probably be.

It's 100% luck, but there are certain features that can affect this luck. I mean, all kinds of bonuses, free spins, and so on. It seems banal, but in my opinion, sometimes you can catch a promotion that will significantly increase your chances of winning.

You'd like to think there's some kind of system that guarantees victory, but I don't think anything like that exists. Of course, even if someone did have such a method, they'd be stupid to share it with others.

Other than looking to play in progressive jackpot games when the jackpot is huge there is not much to do.

The house has the edge, so the longer you play, the more likely you are to leave a loser.

I think you can improve a strategy depending from the games you choose to play. There are some sequences, if you watch carefully.

i have never really dug into it, but how is that possible ? i dont think the house can allow that to happen

that was my assumption too. the house will make sure everything cannot be exploited

i do think theres luck involved, but how do you explain me decreasing my bet and i get like a huge bonus that if i stayed on my original bet it would be massive. happens to me all the time

If you watch carefully you will see some paterns, especially in roulettes!

Well he was talking about slots which is a very different game than roulette is. And I'm also not really sure about the patterns you see there jn roulette.

I think in most cases slots use random number generators. But apparently these generators can work in different ways and I think quite often they generate numbers mainly in favor of the casino.

I think a player's experience can have a certain impact on their luck. Experienced players know where to play, how to play, what to expect and how much to spend, which is definitely an advantage.

Slots are of course 100% luck.
Strategies exist, but in any case the result will depend on luck. Strategies can help in some structuring of the game.

Even if not all luck. there is no replicable method to be a winning player over the long run. Our minds have a tendency to see patterns out of events that leads to logical errors, and not actively seek out the disconfirming information that contradicts our preferred thesis.

I have no strategy and rely entirely on luck. I have a few favorite Irish slots, 9 pots of gold, splash of riches, irish wilds, boots of gols. I just play and hope for the bonus game, most of the time it brings me money.
