Hello colleagues, I have never played roulette in the casino, I have ever played black jack or slots with a free bonus, but I have never played roulette, what do you think is the difference between American and European roulette?

As I know, the differnce is:
European: 36 Numbers + 0 "En prison" rule -> the house wins allways but percentage is lower than in the american version
American: 36 Numbers+ 0 + 00
And normally the language that is used to play European (french dealer language) American (english dealer language).
But the last may be just not worth to mention.

the main difference is the extra 00 on American roulette. I’d rather play European since there’s one less house edge to deal with

The difference is fundamental. I often bet on zero. That’s why I prefer European roulette—because in American roulette, I would have to place two bets.

Would be actually interesting to know what the history behind the second zero is and why they call it American roulette and the other version European Roulette.

Wikipedia is your friend.
A lot to read.

There is an additional zero sector. This increases the casino's advantage. European roulette has a single zero, so I think it is the better choice.

Las Vegas is a full rip off now . Triple zero roulette has 7.69% hose edge , and apparently 'the 3rd zero may be disguised as the casino logo on the table felt '. The article I read says 27 strip casinos have 000 wheels , and just 4 offer single -zero roulette .

If I recall correctly, there is an extra '00' on the roulette wheel. This increases the house's odds; if I see that, I definitely won't play.

It's just one extra number, but I always bet on the zero or put it on the line with the "00"
The odds are worse, but you never expect to come out ahead in roulette; I just play for relief from
blackjack when losing.
