I'm the same—I don't switch games when I'm on a losing streak. If I notice I'm starting to tilt, I just log off and come back another day. I've found that's a lot cheaper than trying to win it back.

I choose a movie. I have a list of movies I want to watch and if I see that I'm not having any luck at poker today. I just take a break and instead of playing I watch a movie on the big 77" TV.

I just shut it down and concentrate on real-life stuff, it's a good time to get something
You've been putting off, done.
In a casino, when I'm losing at blackjack, I go to the craps table and just bet minimum on the pass line,
I'm a lil grouchy while the table is very excited, but a few wins can get a smile back 😍

A losing streak isn't a reason to chase losses. Moving to lower-variance games, reducing stakes, playing fewer tables, or reviewing hands helps you stay focused on making good decisions rather than trying to recover losses quickly.

I can relate to that. I've learned that when I start chasing losses, my decision-making gets worse and I end up turning a small losing session into a much bigger one. These days, if I notice myself getting frustrated or playing differently than usual, I just log off.

I'd rather come back the next day with a clear head than try to force a comeback. Poker isn't going anywhere, and there will always be more good spots in the future. Accepting that some sessions are just going to end in the red has probably been one of the hardest but most valuable lessons I've learned.

Do you have a specific stop-loss limit for a session, or do you mainly go by how you're feeling mentally?

I think you're doing the right thing. If we're on a losing streak at the casino, it's hard to break it. That means luck isn't on our side today, and we should take a break until tomorrow. So yes, I also try not to play if I start feeling negative emotions while playing. ;)

The casino has the edge so there is no reason to chase when you are down, just stay within your budget.

Think having worked in casino for a while I kinda lost the value of money although Parenthood has taught me to be careful but really if I have time I just find a smaller game to play or a low bet slot machine

If I'm in a bad mood or feeling down, I don't gamble. Taking a break on days like these just saves me money.

I just choose something else, some other activity, go for a walk, or just relax. Why waste time and money if the day is not favorable for it.

I'll try BJ if I'm in that situation, but I think I'll try your craps idea, I don't usually go near a craps table as I don't have any experience at craps, playing the pass line is all I really know.

I used to go to a blackjack table to chase. But now, I just stop.
If I'm at a live casino, I just leave, knowing that I can come back another day.
If it happened online, I watch a movie or read a book and before I know it, It'll be forgotten.
