It seems that the newest phase for onlnie slot providers is upping their game & the volatility by allowing players to buy single-spin bonuses - called feature spins - that allow the player access to the biggest chances at hitting that elusive max win - but at a significant cost.

Pragmatic - one of the more popular gaming providers online - has just revamped its famous Zeus vs Hades slot by adding a 250X multiplier that players can actually buy - for 3500X the base bet for a full 10 spins with one reel wild w/ a 250X multiplier...

Or...a more reasonable 300X buy for one spin with one reel wild w/ a 250X multipler

On the surface, it would seem that the gambler now has the ability for one big spin w/ a guaranteed 250X wild reel on every feature spin, but even at the lowest base bet size of 10 cents, this is a $30 spin!

In your opinion, is this a fun way for gamblers to try and hit a max win - BTW, max win on this slot is 25,000X

Do you think this is a good play, or yet another method of increasing their gains and getting players to chase and spend an insane amount of money to do so?

No I dont like these add ons...just more ways to suck people in. I just wanna play the slot machine as it was intended. I wonder what they will come up with next. Yikes.

Yup.
Just more ways to lure players in.
Just don't fully trust "slots" as i used to.

The house usually has the edge, but often the more expensive bets are required for the best payouts.

The RTP numbers assume the player plays perfect.

I am skeptical of such "magic offers". It seems to me that they do not improve the player's chances, but only contribute to the rapid spending of money, and such rapid spending can in turn provoke certain rash and emotional decisions in the player.

Seems like those online Casino sites do everything in their power to suck people into playing their offers. Some lucky people will profit from it and others will lose even more hoping for that big Jackpot that never appears.

nice offer for degenerate gamblers with too much money.

It goes without saying that any gambling games are designed in such a way as to get the maximum amount of money from the player. As we can see, there are actually a lot of mechanisms for this. But if you have your bankroll management in the first place, then any such offers will not particularly affect your decisions.

Uses 30.- bet (in demo) yet still dont get max win 🤔
Amateur.

Either way eventhough i usually use bonus boosts etc then these are almost always not that expensive like showed above ^ ...
As for hunting max win(s) then no clue about that? I believe the closest i've ever come to one was getting ~ 4700x in slot where max win is limited to 10K x ...

The illusion of having a better chance of winning will lead many gamblers to increase their bets and, consequently, hand over more money to the creators of these “paid bonuses.” Well, we’ve seen this movie before, right? Good luck to you, Chris!

$30 for a single spin is wild. I’d rather keep my bankroll for normal spins than pay that much for one shot at a big multiplier.
