why do casinos smell exactly the same everywhere -_-

bruh! i swear every single casino on earth has that exact same smell of old cigarettes, cheap carpet cleaner, and despair 💀 like i could be blindfolded and walked into a casino or some random tribal casino in the middle of nowhere and id instantly know where i am.

I really never paid attention to that.
The only obvious thing is when I'm at a smoking section, but that's obvious to everyone ofc.

Well, the big casinos nowadays only allow smoking in certain areas, they have signs.
In Morocco, I've only been to Saadi, Mamounia and Mazagan. Those have no problem with smoking. But I haven't been there for a while!!

Obviously you haven't been to every casino in the world to be able to swear to it. Casino's in my country do not smell like that.

I think you mean most casinos you visited in Morocco?

Used to be the same way in casinos here back in the early 2000s.
Now only outside or in a small smoking room not much bigger than a broom closet ( not recommendable xD

I've only been to a few casinos, only in Ukraine. But among them there were some where the air was scented and smelled very pleasant.

Thats on the high end casinos for sure, the local casinos dont care really they just use old school tactics for longer sessions, free drinks n stuff
