The ability to get "easy money". Seduces the idea that you can win a lot of money, while spending much less of their own.

What is your opinion.

In the world, only a few things that can deliver such a strong pleasant feeling for a short period of time - sex, drugs, rock and roll and, of course, gambling. Incidentally, gambling addiction is equivalent to drug addiction and is defined as a disease.
For many system game players free money - it is a way to relieve stress, escape or to forget about the disappointment.

Basically everyone wants easy money. The rich do not have enough adrenaline.

Personally, I love poker, because for me it's a great chance to earn $ sitting at home at the computer 🙂

People play to win. But there is also an excitation factor. Players use money to make the game exciting. gambling acts on the brain as a drug.

It's the thrill and rush. You have to admit that there are lots of ways to earn money easier, but not many where you are as excited.

I play mostly for the challenge of improving and for the competition.

Earning money doesn't hurt either!

I look forward to seeing what works and what doesn't each time I play.

It's fun and the thrill of winning is just indescribably pleasant. Then of course there is the feeling of losing... we don't need to talk about that one.

Persanally, I don't like the feeling when going all in, and not knowing if I'll win or lose. I do it, I "gamble" when playing poker, but it's not something I enjoy. I just like making money playing poker.

When you play gambling, your brain allocates a maximum of neurostimulants and at the same time spends a minimum of resources. You do not need to get on skis and go with a gun in the woods to kill the bear. Just sit down at the table and play on critical for your pocket rates. The concentration of hormones in the blood will be above the state of rest. Having experienced this one day, you will come here again.

As long as it is gambling, like MTTs, not gaming like casino games. I like the ability of being able to win a lot of money risking little.I hate cash games.

I do agree people love gambling, and those people are seduced with the idea of taking their own monies with the attempt of exponentially increasing it through a win, wins while feeling the excitement, thrills typically caused by dopamine being released in the brain.

Many people do it because of of the same reasons however it is because they are self destructive, and while some may take on some of these other habits ie. excessive alcohol consumption / drug abuse, violence, compulsive and deviant sex; gambling can be often times the more innocuous of the addictions where you could just lose, people close to you, money, possessions, a job; and not get an actual physical illness / disease, or lose your actual life.

Some are very disciplined, analysts, and gifted and make a consistent living doing it, and it's a means to an end.

I'm 48, and gambled 3/4's of my life and have been through all 3 scenarios, with the latter working at least according to my tax returns for over a decade, thank goodness. I'd rather be fishing though. BTW my worst loss came in a business start up, blew through $850k in 9 months, made my historic gambling losses seem like peanuts.

The question, what risk (business, other ventures) isn't actual gambling? And does gambling put a negative connotation on people who do well doing at it which might consider calling what they do non-traditional short term speculations. 😉

The excitement and love of gambling is very much like the top of Mount Everest

I like playing poker. I play so much, but I do not get bored. I play and play. In addition, prizes in the form of real money are motivating and pleasing.

But not everyone wins at gambling. Many lose everything. There may come a day that you have to take up arms and stand up on skis in search of food. Because all the money and property left in the casino.

What is it like? You can conquer a mountain peak and you have lost interest in her? Or remain forever lying in the snow of Everest?

Your answer is interesting. Do business and play in casinos in slot machines the same?

People want to win money and gambling seems like a way to do it. But not everyone wins.

I want to answer your question, I just cannot understand it. 🙁🙂

I will tell you horse racing is my game, not slot machines.

There are many ways to get a big dose of adrenaline but gambling is one of the most popular and captivating and in most cases does not threaten your health, unlike other ways to get this unforgettable feeling.

Life develops many 'gambling dimensions'.Whoever likes to explore repeatedly these dimensions, is exposed to addiction-in the starting stage there is only attraction-I think.
Some, are attracted-addicted to the gamble itself, some to the earnings of it.
Anyway, addiction can come in everything, if someone overdoes this 'thing' attracted to.

I like your take the best. It captures how i feel about it. To beat the additive properties of anything in life self control is needed.😀

I like to play some casino games with my extra money as an entertainment, If i win is Ok, If I lost some money, then I quit!
