Hello folks, I noticed that casinos don't have that much restriction in some countries, but poker does have restrictions, why doesn't the casino have the same restrictions in some countries?

Obviously, it all depends on the legislation and the lawmakers. Here in Ukraine, officials lobby for the interests of local casinos and use various methods to block access to reputable sites.

Casinos want to make the maximum profit and don't care where the money comes from. They also (probably) can afford paying some of it to the local authorities to stay in business.

I don't really understand what restrictions you mean but I agree that paying the local authorities
helps lessen the restrictions.

I would have to guess that restrictions are easier to get around as a "casino" and not a poker room. I have no idea why the govt feels the need to control every aspect of our life, but here we are.

It is kind of confusing. At first, I thought he was talking about restrictions somehow imposed by casinos, but I realized that it was about restrictions of which casinos and poker sites are subject to.

In America, a rich billionaire familywith a last name of Adelson has always pushed donations to politicians that ban online casinos. You would think he would get more customers to visit his brick and mortar casinos if he pushed legislation that allows online gambling, but he knows what is best for America.

Our voices do not get heard since he Citizens United Act passed which allows corporations to donate unlimited amounts of money compared to the average citizen. I trust our corporations only have our best interests in mind. Its not like corporations would increase prices to make citizens around the world suffer, if they got in power.
