2007 wasn't a bad year for me according to my poker journal I'm still strong with tournament wins but weak in my cash games. I think the main reason for this is bankroll followed by I love "playing poker" more than "playing winning poker".
So not a great year and I say "not bad" because I decreased my negative investment by 50%, I lost about 5k per year in 05' and 06', so 07' has been better.
In 2007 I saw 19 final tables, three 1st places, cashed 94 times and won 4533.00 in tournaments. My investment for the year total is negative 2300.00, online winnings were not subtracted from the investment unless withdrawn.
My goal last year was to play less cash games and more tournaments and that has worked out pretty good. I'm keeping better records and keeping to stricter bankroll management.
I'm now at zero wins, zero loss's and zero investment
RESET
Goals will be to continue to keep better records, stay within bankroll management and study develop cash game while trying to move up within BRM tournament levels.
ROCK UP in live play "build a bankroll", still play more tournaments than cash it's my strong suit but I want to make my cash game better which means a bankroll is a necessity so I can set up a cash game BRM scheme closer to Chris Ferguson's suggestions than my current too loose BRM. My local casinos have a max buy-in 60.00 no limit, I'll need to build a bankroll of 1200,00 to hit that 5% mark. So it will be slow going, ROCK UP and folding to most challenges unless I have the nutz, when I hit that mark, I'll open up my game and experiment a bit. This is going to be quite a challenge, I'm kind of looking forward to it.
Well there it is, not great, not bad (comparatively) but showing signs of improvement. 2008 here I come
