Howdy!

As this year winds down, I encourage you all to take some time to look back on your poker playing from 2021 and reflect on "how it went."

Ask yourself these questions:

1) What did I want to accomplish with my game in 2021?

2) Did I do it?

3) Do I still want what I thought I wanted at the beginning of 2021?

4) If my "wants" have changed, have they changed in the direction of Progress?

5) Am I taking all the possible steps necessary to become a better player?

1) What did I want to accomplish with my game in 2021?

I wanted to make $5,000 in 2021.

2) Did I do it?

The short answer is no. I made roughly $3,000 in 2021 (so far) and have now made a TOTAL of $5,000 in both 2020 and 2021.

3) Do I still want what I thought I wanted at the beginning of 2021?

No. My ideals have significantly changed, as I am no longer concerned with the monetary results of my play. I simply take what is "given to me" and focus on making optimal decisions.

4) If my "wants" have changed, have they changed in the direction of Progress?

I believe so. I am continuously striving for a method of play that resembles PLAY. I do not want to GRIND, SCRAPE, STRESS, etc.

5) Am I taking all the possible steps necessary to become a better player?

No, of course not. This answer is impossible to answer "yes" to, but serves as a spark for thought on where else I can look for development. I have found the most significant development in my game from my study of eastern thought (i.e. Taoism and Zen Buddhism). Yes, philosophy and religion have helped my poker game (a lot!).

1) What did I want to accomplish with my game in 2021?
With my game, I wanted to achieve the identification of my existing problems with the game.

2) Did I do it?

3) Do I still want what I thought I wanted at the beginning of 2021?
[FONT=NotoSans, Lato, arial, sans-serif]Undoubtedly I want to identify and correct my mistakes.

4) If my "wants" have changed, have they changed in the direction of Progress?
[FONT=NotoSans, Lato, arial, sans-serif]Due to the fact that I identified my problems in the game, I began to pay more attention to these errors during the game.

5) Am I taking all the possible steps necessary to become a better player?
By getting rid of my problems in the game, I get one step closer to fulfilling my dream, to become a better player than I was.

I earned about $ 300 this year playing freerolls, but I could have made more, but my cowardice, with a weak card to answer large raises, deprived me of such an opportunity to earn more - intuition is the main factor of success in the game

I set myself the goal of building a bankroll with $ 0, and I achieved it! I've made pretty good progress in my game, it's a huge step for me! During this year I have reconsidered my attitude to the game and now I know in which direction I need to work! I didn't make a lot of money playing poker, but I learned a certain skill to do it, and for me I think this year has been a success! Good luck to everyone at the tables!

Took 2021 off from poker. Besides a few SnG, that was it. I'll have a week off before the year ends, could be a update.

I take all possible steps to become a better player and get better results. I work hard to achieve my goals, and step by step I go to my goal.
