It is very helpful, after many hours of poker. Focus may be lost a bit.

When I first started playing I used a 4 color deck and still often do but I will switch back and forth.
I would definitely suggest it for newer players to the game.

While I did not read this branch, I did not even think of playing with a 4-color deck. After reading, it turned out that 4 colors of fans more than the classical deck. I decided to try to switch to 4 colors. The conclusion is this - 4 colors are more convenient, but when colored - the cards themselves, and not the inscriptions on them. Now I play on line only with a four-color deck.

I think it is a matter of custom depending on how many tables you are playing, I usually use the two colors, this will depend on the tastes and needs of the players.

Never used a 4 color deck up until recently, it definitely helps me see the table better when multi tabling.

I like 4-color decks because its easier to differentiate between the suits at first glance (which prevents the "right color, wrong suit" sweat when all-in lol)

think it makes the play faster, and if it eliminates just one mistake its worth it

When I play pokerstars/888, I always use 4-color, so much easier to see the suits, when you play so many hands.

Only 2 colors. I am distracted by a four-color deck.
I spent several days and could not get used to it.

In the beginning it was so weird for me seeing the diamonds in blue and clubs in green but after a while I can not turn back to the regular colour deck. Is so annoying try to find out if the black is a club or a spade etc. Thumbs up of that option from me. It's very convenient especially if you multi-table!!!!

It's helpful if you are tired and therefore more likely to miss a flush draw but other than that I'm not a fan.

I much prefer to keep it traditional.

I always play with a 4 color deck. It really helps when I'm playing multi tables. The downside is when I go play live and I'm not use to a 2 color deck at the Casino.

Yes! A four color deck helps tremendously when playing multiple games at a fast pace, especially games like PLO where more than 2 cards are dealt...

When I started out playing poker and had aspirations of greatness I decided that if I was going to be able to play live I had to learn to pay attention and 4 color on-line play could hurt that skill so have never tried 4 color deck. That thinking was kind of affirmed when I saw Phil Ivey fold a winning rivered flush when the river was checked down in a multi-way pot.
