Aces every time. If you don't ever know how to fold them then you need some education in poker.

It's disappointing when you get beaten with any strong starting hand but, if I have to choose, I'll take AA every time!

I love the most when I get AA And when somebody follows me with some stupid cards of type 7-9 and win. There are no rules, it's best when you get some strong starting cards to bet and then try the reis, so what happens:):):)

AA is obviously better but KK is easier to get away from and thats what I see most often being the problem with these hands. They equate the value to "the nuts" and don't heed check raises and so forth post flop.

Agreed, these hands are preflop hideous monsters that are profitable to any player. However when they go postflop, and the players are not All-in... then experienced pros with shrewd postflop skills have the edge. KK+ can lose a lot of pots for amateur players who don't have board texture and hand reading skills. It's important to note also, that pros are LOOKING for players who are raising with nitty ranges like KK+. This is because they know that novice players are unable to release these hands postflop. So therefore the pro makes more speculative calls against Nits/Tags. They do this in late position with hands like 22-66, 87s and 53s etc.. which can flop concealed monsters or strong draws. They will then normally semi-bluff raise to move the KK+ off its hand on the turn or river. OR they have hit their hidden draw already and are now raising for value. The big pair will not have much of an idea where it is at, and amateur players will not be able to fold most of the time. This makes good regs a lot of money if they have hit their draw. But so many "Planned" situations like this give the impression that Kings and Aces "are destined to lose". This is not the case. What happened was, you were being studied and watched closely, and your raising range was obvious. So when your Kings or Aces "Lost again" you were simply outplayed by good players who have a thorough grasp of implied odds, ranges and board/hand reading.

new rule, if you go all in pre flop with AA or KK you automatically win.

AA... means, always all-in, right?

The two pairs AA and KK, when we receive at the tables, we have a great expectation that we will win or make a good profit, but that many are aware that behind the great of this pair hide many decptions or great damages.

it may seem obvious but... i may disagree with you. i'm less disappointed with kings when they run into any Ax with an A on the board.... i feel like i should know better.

with aces, i feel like i should win.. and when i don't, well...

what about you?

So your takin up a hobby wherein your goal is to be less disappointed than --------, to each his own. I'd say good luck, but what's the point.
Attitude may not be up there with position & fundamentally solid play, but an "expecting to lose" attitude will bring you almost guaranteed success, when you lose.

Rank 1 of 169. Expected to win 85% of the time against 1 random hand, and 82% against 2 random hand. Overall a dangerous monster, but should be played fast. Do not allow opponents to draw cheaply and never slow play.

Surely AA is the best hand, it's dominating all the others, but I'm asking for either one of the tournaments.

I like them both and I bet very hard, most of the time I win with those pairs; and in lesser percentage I lose.

I lose with this hand in 75% of cases, and that's why I try to open more tightly. I'm constantly called by the hand 9 10, 7 8, 5 6 and catches straight)

I'll take either one too. Some nights I do not get them but I like the nights they pop up alot. But we have to play these hands aggressively. We don't want too many hands involved.

I like Aces, by far, over Kings.
