Depends really! I think a mix of both is good with cash being the bread and butter! You can use your cash money as buy ins to tournaments! Say you win two buy ins profit in a cash game you could then take half a buy in and enter a tournament with it! If you win then you're after increasing your bank roll a lot if you lose you're still in profit over all!
But to answer the question you would need a lot of money to start as a tournament player outright! The amount of times you won't cash meaningfully is rather large! So I'd recommend cash game try etch yourself a nice hourly consistently, continue to study and as your bankroll grows enter a tournament every so often amf study like crazy! If you bink two or three tournaments in a year while consistently grinding cash you should have a nice chunk of profit to show for yourself!
But if you're only starting then the only question you should be asking is "which is fun for me"

The best way for me is to add the necessary amount of money in your cashier and to have it for many tournaments. Cash games are easier to gain money in my opinion, although the fact I hate cash games. If you play only in tournaments, it is impossible to cash in every tournament and to speed up with your money in the bank and to get good money you have to play a lot of hours and to be in the first places. To win one basic tournament you have to eliminate too many players and to overcome too many difficult situations, which is tough. In cash game you can win a lot with one hand and to leave the table , but on the other hand there you can loose your money faster than tournaments.

I think for cash games, the best option is to play Omaha hi/lo zoom. I have tried it many times and from there I have made money very fast with 4 tables opened.

This question also interests me as a young player. But now I thought that each player has his own playing style and therefore the player can play well at cash tables but badly at tournaments. Therefore, the player must decide this question himself.

Definitely a preference decision. I think even for many poker professionals they have a preference between one or the other because it suits their playing style or mentality they need to take into account. I think ultimately it's about finding what you enjoy playing more and working on crafting and improving your game to that style.

both formats are a good way to succeed in poker. With the cash game you can make small gains in the short term. on the other hand on MTT it is long term. but when you get to win an important tournament. this generally represents a large sum of money. personally I only play on MTT because it is the format that best suits my style of play.

For me personally, these are freerolls.
But in most cases, I prefer tournaments.

Some players are better cash game players and some are better tournament players. Best of them are good in both. I personally am MTT player and prefer tournaments.

Online I deffinetly recomend palying tournaments. Its a great to win a lot in one shot. Also
in cash you are at adisadvantage against programs.

Since I have tried tournaments seriously, I do not even bother with cash games any more. Tournaments are much much more reliable and less risky.

i think tournament is better . you pay once and spend lot of time and sometimes from very small money you win big

I like tournaments. With a buy in fix you know what your loss or gain options are, the downside is that it takes a long time. I recently discovered cash games and I'm starting to like them. I didn't venture with a lot of money because it's something new for me and I don't want to risk too much but my impression about the cash game is that you can make money fast but there is a risk of losing just as fast. If you are a responsible person you should decide on an amount to play but do not exceed it and try the cash game, BUT my advice is to study this type of game very well before you fall prey to the guys who deal for something like that for a long time.
