Well we got Matt Damon, John Malkovich, John Turturro and Ed Norton (and Martin Landau, great but underappreciated actor) in one film, so that covers lots of bases. I'd watch Gary Oldman in pretty much anything.

If it were a more tragic film about an out of control gambling addiction and the seedy side of gambling, Three age categories, I'd go Male - Joaquin Phoenix, Ben Kingsley or Daniel Radcliffe Female - Francis McDormand, Laura Linney, or Elizabeth Debicki. If it were more like a typical sports movie where you have a hero who overcomes adversity to triumph in the end, then Male- Jeff Bridges, Brad Pitt or Ansel Elgort, and Female - Susan Sarandon, Keira Knightly, and Shailene Woodley.

I should be a casting director.

There are too many famous players to make movie of, but more interesting one could be about Archie Karas's story. Guy was top gambler, made huge run in Las Vegas back in the days. He beat too many famous names in poker and played super high stakes that never seen before (they said). Just let Martin Scorsese meet him then it's enough.
