After 5 or 10 or 15 years of playing, do you still have faith in poker?

Of course i believe. I've been watching my games and analyzing my decisions and I always find myself playing undisciplined. Poker is not about going all in with AA and beating whoever. Poker is a game of skill, mastery and luck (listed as I understand their importance). You will always have to apply the skill first and then have the self-control to wait for the moment to count on luck. This is the sequence. What happens a lot out there is that people rely on luck first and then try to gain self-control to apply the skill.
Of course, there are people who enter the world of Poker thinking that they are going to be unbeatable and become millionaires playing. For this person, Poker can be very frustrating (just like almost everything in life that we enter into without preparing). If this is your case, review your values and what you expect from Poker.

Sometimes in some tournaments I feel like poker is on my side and I can fully realize my potential. But most of the time it's the other way around, and poker does everything to make me lose.

This question is very generic, but I'll try to answer it.

I've been playing for over ten years. From time to time I get a little tired of playing and stop for a few months, but then I start playing again with the same desire as always.

For me the answer would be yes, because from the beginning I always had a good understanding of the nature of the game. It involves luck, skill, among other factors.
