What's very losing?

I think getting hit hard with multiple bad runouts makes me less interested in poker than losing one big buy-in. Likewise playing and busting out after 6 hours makes me less likely to start another tournament, compared to busting out in less than an hour.

Oh yes I remember when I was new to poker and I had a very long losing track I wanted to stop playing poker. But it was a bit extreme and I don't know if there are people who had experienced it that way. During that time, it was almost impossible for me to win. If I had set then my opponent got on the river straight I had full house, the opponent got a higher ful house, I had four of a kind, my opponent got a higher four of a kind. This lasted almost a year and a half and although I only try to play good cards, I slowly or surely lost my confidence. Now it happens every now and then that I experience such things, but it doesn't hit me as hard as it used to. I believe that you grow through experience over time and that you then learn to deal with something like that better

Not to quit poker, but to quit playing cash games. I do well playing tournaments, win some cash, and go to cash games and seem to donate my winnings. Pretty frustrating. Someday I'll learn!

I never had the desire to quit playing poker, even after a long series of failures, there was a desire to quickly correct my mistakes, as a result of which I spent more time learning than the game itself !!!

I can understand people's frustration after a really bad session but in the end if you have a decent bankroll management and understanding of how poker works on short and long term, you should be able to overcome the tough period- maybe take a short break to study and hopefully come back stronger and get back to winning ways...

After losing a few buyins cash, I might stop playing cash for that day, and only play freerolls. There is always tomorrow.

no . for some reason i never have the desire to quit poker even when i have really bad streaks

however sometimes i get bored when i play too much . but after a small break of a few days i get the same desire to play again

for players who think about quitting when they loose i think it is important to remind yourself that there will be good days again and that you love poker . but of course dont risk any money and stick to your bankroll management rules

Yes, I stop playing for a while when I get into the badbeat, but I won't stop playing poker for that reason.

I usually enter cash tournaments and in the heat of the moment I scream to myself that I will never play poker again. I will stop. but I don't really take that seriously. Anyway, I'm signing up for the tournaments the next day

lately I stress less and learn from my mistakes, analyze how I should have acted differently. I look back at my game. There is no profitable game without a lot of losses) this is my motto)

its hard for me to stop after a bad round but the real thing to stop playing go sleep wait the next day and your mind will be ready for new round!

I sometimes have to stop the session quickly because of bad-beats and coolers piling up. And I know the feeling - it's similar to "I will never drink that much again"

So yeah, I did rage-quit few times, resign in despair few times... But then I start working on the "mental game" and now I just try to simply move on to the next hand

If you're using good bankroll management losing sessions don't matter..make sure you play mostly in your comfort zone with the odd pot shot if there is good value..if you are having lots of losing sessions move down in stakes..don't play on tilt...have fun and good luck

Nothing prevents you from taking a break if there is a losing streak. But if you play for fun and not to earn money, then you will always play. The problem happens when the result does not meet expectations. But this happens only if you want to earn money.
