I will not win if I'll drink. I had such a sad experience. The alcohol is reduces vigilance. I didn't see players which drink alcohol in the tournament

It all depends on what your goal is. Big money tourneys, i wouldn't drink much. But no general problem having a few drinks while playing.

when i was playing on stars i did drink and it was okay. I am sure it made me play loose or just stupid sometimes.

I think drinking alcohol while playing poker is not such a good idea. It's makes you slow and impairs your judgement. Also, you have much more courage when you've had a couple. So in my opinion tea and juice and Smoothies are the way to go.

It is pretty stupid to drink alcohol while playing poker. Maybe a little just to calm your nerves, but too much will now bring you anything good. TBH I don't think even little alcohol should be drank while playing.

It all depends, if you drink two beers for the thirsty or a shot of whiskey to the nerves, I do not see any harm.
Now if you're going to flood the blood alcohol certainly you will not get good results at the tables. Is some logic that applies.
