This option is needed in poker rooms. Yes, sometimes annoying, when after you wrote a message, it was not published because of this option and you have to write again. But if one day you find yourself at the final table of a big tournament and the fate of a small prize will be decided, the lack of this option could cost you dearly.
1) The publication of notes on you for your opponent, if you represent a greater threat than your opponent, for a third party.
2) Psychological pressure in one or another manifestation, which motivates you to certain actions.

But why should the situation change when you go all in? The same advantages can be given with every bet.

When chat is generally allowed I don't see the point in disabling it for this specific event.

In the later stages of tournaments in 90 percent of situations, players are all-in preflop. Those. Try to determine your hand before your decision is impossible, and after your decision, when some could calculate the strength of your hand on the notes, and the information to your opponent from the other player will not give the option All in Chat Disabling.

That's why I say...temporarily disable chat for everyone not in the hand anymore......just to avoid players who folded giving information which could influence the outcome of the hand....

Disable chat - This is the right solution! Very often they write an insult or humiliate. And they will not, agree!

Any business without the strict rules creates anarchy and confusion, and it does not suit anyone.I rule with both hands!!!

I think it's really silly. WPN doesn't do it..

It's especially horrible on rooms that are all freerolls so, at least every other hand 1 or more players are all-in..

Not needed feature IMO.

That rule is fine because if I'm all in the ones that are in the game they can still say something like: friend I will do foldear AQ and if there is another with A who thought to pay I thought because there is already a notice that someone had A and you will have Less chance of winning and therefore not play and you with your all in KK.

I communicate in the chat when I play, mostly these Russian-speaking people from the CIS countries. People who write to me in English, I can not answer or answer them no right away and due to poor knowledge of English, but I'm working on this

I don't understand, never heard solid reasoning for why chat us allowed but not when someone is all in. When playing live the dealer doesn't tell you to be quiet when someone is all in.

Yes they do. Its the exact same live. you dont talk when someone is all in so as to not influence action.

/thread.

It helps at times and it hurts at times so i think it should be allowed. If i have all my chips in i want to maybe try and influence whatever way i want to try and get you to call or fold. So for me and only me i want the ability to chat. Whether it works or not is another story lol

I came here to write exactly this! At live games the chat never stops, so no reason to do it online.

The chat does not affect me at all, I'm always focused on my game, watching the play of the rest, the way their peers play, their high cards and their projects I think this is more fundamental to my game than to be chatting hehehe.
I agree that this is deactivated. :)
