Has anyone tried short deck poker?

Has anyone tried short deck poker? Is it worth trying?

It's a lot like PLO where the preflop edges don't run that big. It seems like the type of game where you prey on new players who are making a lot of mistakes. However, it is quite fun flopping royal flushes and other strong hands. Just be aware that it is very swingy.

I played it with friends only. Short deck is more variance than normal deck

I play poker for 6 months and play only in NL Hold'em.
And although I try to play every day, I still do not have enough time.
Given my limited time, I do not play other games except NL Hold'em.
