[QUOTE="feitr, post: 906401, member: 34106"] I kinda met my original goal, which was just to make ~$1500 for the month AND NOT WITHDRAW ANY OF IT so i would be well rolled for nl100 in sept. I was up $1500 after a week i think (played quite alot) then i hit a horrible downswing of almost 20k hands where i was stuck like $600 or so. Luckily, i cleared a reload bonus and won 2 $215 sats so my BR didn't actually go down during this period but pretty awful to play. Part of the downswing was being about 12 buy ins below EV but i think alot was me moving to nl100, getting fps for the first little while and losing about 3 buy ins, then starting to play quite well but running really bad. Ended up like 6k hands of nl100 about 1 1/2 buy ins down, but that was with about 4 buy ins below Ev, and considering i was geniunely 3 buy ins down early on (nothing to do with bad luck just playing like an idiot), it could have actually been quite an ok transition. So then i went against my 2nd goal, and took all my PokerStars money out (i always do this, so it hardly helps me in building a roll...can't think of a single month where i haven't taken out a good chunk of my roll and put it in my bank account) and moved 1k to titan to see how the play was/clearing bonus, but the main reason was that i wanted 6 months of stox membership without having to pay for it. Anyways, 2 days of that and horrible software (no time so you time out all the time) and an inability to play anywhere near the hands/hr i was at PokerStars and i had to withdraw that and start rebuilding my stars BR, now only able to play nl50 since you can't deposit much. 2nd reason was i think that i am set on transitioning over to 6 max, and i am trying to curb a tendency to randomly spew money at 6 max in stupid call downs/bluffs when i'm not running all that well (so partly tilt i guess...but i really need to be able to ACTUALLY lay down hands when my gut knows i'm beat...like qq on a T high board vs a nit who is valueetowning me and i know is only really doing it with kk/aa but i just hope he has jj even tho i know he never does). So my winrate at nl50 6 max being so small (like 3BB/100 or something) certainly didn't help the downswing. So sept goals have nothing to do with money really. I dont' want to be playing all that much because uni is starting up again, so i simply want to just focus on getting better at 6 max by watching stox videos. I think i'll just keep with my small stars roll at the moment since it is enough for 50nl, and if i start to actually pick up 6 max well i'll move over to nl100 6max next month. 50 nl i alot easier to deal with the swings anyways, and i don't really want to have poker dominating my thoughts too much over the next while. anyways long rant and i'm sure nobody will acxtually read it but oh well.
