Avatars you hate?

Best Avatar:

lol, I use the donkey avatar on tilt, what I hate are people who change the expression of their avatar to 'happy' after they suck out. They're usually the guys who are bragging about it two seconds later as well. Other than that, I dont really pay attention to them.

My dog avatar frowns when I suck out "BAD DOG!"... But then he usually gets Happy and "Wags Tail" just to piss you off.

reading into a persons play based on their avatar is rather stupid its stereotyping and not all are the same, use it as a guide but don't go oh hes got this avatar hes a donk or a lag or a pro etc.

I my case, I'm actually the first Heuristic ALgorithmic pokerbot.

/Chose this avatar because the Pokerstars circles reminded me of it.

'ninja', 'doberman'..but I've said enough already... can't give it all away, lol.

Nice so im not crazy!

Even tho it pisses me off when the ninja has the little grin or the rock/plant smiles like hes laughing at you it makes me go crazy!

You know what else pisses me off?

When players sit there on tilt an just change the animation over and over and over and over again OMG I just want to turn them off!

I don't mind any avatars, except the Full Tilt ones. I find the cartoons annoying and have them off.

On stars the only ones that bother me are the close up eyeball pics I turn those off. Oh yea and anyone with a Cardschat avatar because I know they are way better than me.

I really hate the ones where a butt ugly dude looks right in the camera in extreme closeup. I only see them on PS, but I bet other sights that allow you to use your own images these guys do it there too.. I have to "block image" on those guys....... gonna try to make one and attach it to this note.

I dont play with avatars on FT

but the afro one always busts me out of tourneys so I dislike that one the most lol he was one of the reasons I turned the FT avatars off

Lol, I disable all avatars on PS. I have seen enough baby, dog, eye, skull, cat etc...

Yes, I turn them off also. They make the table top too busy. Perhaps it they eliminated them altogether, they could make the important things (like the money and the cards) bigger for tired old eyes.

They usually have that shiteating grin after they take my chips. Then I gotta stare at them for the next hour or so. Look at them. Just grinning and mocking me.

Froggie and monkey are very cute avatars. Froggie is my favorite avatar.

I think the most annoying avatar that pisses people off is laughing panda. It has that irritating grin. Looks like a fat goofball that you just wanna punch the crap out of for being stupid. I use that towards my advantage and pick panda if I plan to play loose-passive strategy.

I don't pay much attention to avs. Don't like the older guy with the cigar, but that's cause he reminds me of an ex-boss who was a misery.

I do consider some avs as clues to the type of player the person is, just like I consider their nicknames. The real sharks, however, will mislead -- they'll have names like "27beatsya" "Imadonk" (or some other name that indicates they know a lot about poker before they joined up) and use the donkey or fish av. The people who think they are better than they are will often use the shark av or Bond or Tyson. They seek to intimidate. The folks who like the white puppy sometimes are trying to look cute -- "I don't know this game but let's play" -- some of them do play well. The hot babes are often guys, and often aggressive good players.

Of course, some people use the av that they feel closest to -- the character closest to them or that they wish they were or the animal they love. The big goofy dog is usually a friendly player, as is the gray haired lady. I will figure either of those avs as not aggressive tight players until their play changes my mind.

For myself, I mostly use the little blond cowgirl because that's me. If people underestimate me because of my av, let them.

You do know there are alternate decks on PS, right? One makes the cards easier to read.

Thanks. I seldom play on PS but some others it isn't the cards on the table so much as it is trying to see your cards after you folded. They are teeny, tiny. Also how much money everyone has and even their names. It's not really a big deal but they are right by the avatars.
