That is the kind of topic that poker sites make learning guides of.
In the academy section of the major online poker rooms there is always a semi or professional player that provides written or video content about this subject.

There are lots of different bank roll theories but the one common theme through them all is discipline. Set the rules you are going to work to and stick to them.

If your running bad, take a break. If your running good, play for a while.

Number one best rule I can offer for anyone trying to slowly grow or maintain a bankroll:

STOP PLAYING MULTI-TABLE TOURNAMENTS!!!!!!!

Seriously. MTTs are about as high-variance as poker gets. They're even worse than PLO in that regard. And you want probably... what, fifty or a hundred times the buy-in of your regular tournament in order to be properly rolled?

Start playing either cash games or SnGs and the swings should smooth out.

And by fulltilt, he means when she gets on the bed it fully tilts.

Shozam!
