I know she's controversial and some people just don't like her but I've always thought Vanessa Selbst was a great player. As far as my favorite female players I'd go with either Jennifer Harman or Vanessa Rousso.

Liv Boeree had a pretty big influence on me when starting out.

People who said Vanessa Selbs and Liv Boeree, I wonder, when is the last time you watched them play? They haven't won anything in ages. 3-4 years ago I watched Liv Boeree stream on twitch and she was terrible. Played very nitty abc poker. And don't get me started on Vanessa Selbst. If you think she is good just watch this
Right now the best female poker player is hands down Kristen Bicknell. She has the best results in tough fields and plays advanced poker. Vicky Coren should be second, though, I'm not sure of her recent results.
