My favorite poker movie is, The Golden Rooster, it's about a poker player who wins a lot of money and then loses everything.

A Big Hand for the Little Lady is the only one that I've watched more than once or twice. It is the story of a gambling addict travelling west with his wife and child. They come into a town where an annual high stakes game between well respected members of the community is taking place. Henry Fonda, Joanne Woodward (Paul Newman's wife), Jason Robards, and many other notable actors from that era.

A few years ago I watched the movie "Molly's Game." It's an interesting movie. I recommend watching it.

I like Maverick the most because of its poker theme.

For me, Rounders (1998) is still the best poker movie. ♠️
It captures the psychology of poker really well — bankroll pressure, reads, bluffing, tilt, and the emotional swings of the game.
The underground cash-game atmosphere makes it even more entertaining for poker players.
I can watch it repeatedly because you notice different poker details each time.
Rounders is basically a poker classic that never gets old. 🎬♠️

So far, the best poker movie I have ever seen is Rounders. I can relate to that scene where Matt Damon thinks he had the nuts, then lost every penny he had, including his tuition money.
