Me! lol just jk. It depends how you judge best player. It could be how many wsop they have won or there total cash winnings Then there is also variety players that play both well. I would say Phil ivey has my vote

now there are 100s of thousands stu ungar playing the game .. they bluff like him, they call like him in sick way not believing the bluff.. no one can say who is really the best poker Player ever.. there are some who are great poker Players but cant Play much due to their personal or financial reasons..but ya there are some very gd poker Players like :

I would have to go with Ivey. Has gotten many bracelets and when poker was already popular. Not like in the older days when the field was much much smaller. Also he plays prety much every type of game out there and has bracelets in a large variety of games. His poker face, types of cards he plays, impossible to read. Typical answer im sure, but from facts I go with Ivey.
