Did anyone see Beth Shak on the TV show Millionaire Matchmaker? Is she even a millionaire? Wikipedia says her live tournament cashes are less than $500k.

ya i was flipping through channels and heard poker player on it so i watched it. I looked her up right away because ive never heard of her and ya her winnings are less than 500k. It said she made some impressive tournament cashes though

She has ther own clothineline. She has 500k in tourneys. Prob more in cash games. And your all forgetting she divorced Dan Shak who is an actual pro and has won over 2.5million in MTT's. Thats how shes shes a millionare.

^ this. Reported tournament winnings only tell a tiny bit of the story. Plus Dan Shak is, technically, an amateur player since his real business is hedge fund management (IIRC) so he should also be worth well over his reported tournament winnings.

eg. Guy Laliberte -- plays the highest rungs of poker cash and tourneys, yet what he wins is loose change in comparison to his net worth.

Beth Shak is definitely a millionaire, she was married to Dan Shak who is absolutely loaded. Don't care if she's closer to my mom's age than my age, still think she's smoking.

She's definitely a millionaire. She's a red full tilt pro and also, she has her own company i believe. and with all the sponsors, commercials, advertisements, etc, she's definitely a millionaire. wikipedia only talks about her tournament winnings.
