I’m slowly starting to play tournaments, that mean I’m headed to the big leagues?

If you are used to monotonous work and painstaking work, then it is better for you to go to the cache, because the earnings in it add up bit by bit into one overall result. In tournament poker, endurance is more important than perseverance. After all, here, unlike cash, for the hard 6-7 hours spent in one tournament, you will receive a fairly significant amount of money. I choose the tournament!

Personally, I prefer tournaments more than cash tables. It’s true that tournaments can sometimes drag on a lot and sometimes fall out without a prize after hours of play, but on average I still win more than at the cash tables.

I try to combine them. Cash and tournaments. A good player should be versatile.

I play mostly tournaments as the payoffs are much better than playing in cash games. I do enjoy the amount of people in these tournies and it is a better way for me to pick up some hints. Good luck to all.

I personally enjoy cash games more, only because tournaments can take 6+ hours and when I play I only want to play for about an hour.

It's kinda sad , but whenever I play cash , I have the feeling I am not playing with human beings , no mistakes from their side , all the time table selection , they don't pay me , the RNG agianst me , time wasted for nothing , I feel as I am the only human at the table :( . Tried recently NLH , limit stud H/L and PLO8 , sh****y results .

Cash games are getting difficult day by day. But they are good to build bankroll.
Tourneys have more variance, but definitely more value if the field is soft. If you can embrace variance, then play tourneys.

I don't like cash games. I prefer tournaments. Cash games are difficult and usually only make me angry and frustrated.

Tournaments seem to be best for me. Cash games just seem to loose on low limits these days.

I think its the same if you start on micro stakes.
MTT is more time and thus patience consuming, so it might be cash to start with to get used to longer sessions

I think Cash because it doesn't last for hours, But if you have a lot of free time tournament is better because you win big prize in the end.

I prefer tournaments, they have a long distance that contributes to getting into prizes, rather than cash games. But cash games will appeal to those who want to raise or lower their money faster, it all depends on how much skill you are and how lucky you are in poker.

I am not a fan of tournament poker. Television has made tournament poker look glamorous
and like a competition whre skill prevails. However, the truth of the matter is that
lucks plays a much larger factor in tournaments than in ring games. Think about this way:
at a regular no-limit game, if you started with $2,000 what is the chance that you would
end up with $2 million before the night was over? Zero. However, to win a tounament
where wach player has 2k starting chips and 1,000 people enter, you would need to win two
million in chips to win the tournament. Not an easy feat to do unless lady luck truly
smiled upon that day!
