Better to play when there are lots of player, especially in Zoom. On Pokerstars and 888 that would be the weekends and evenings. More players mean more inexperienced players. Be aware of the regulars ;-)

I also prefer weekdays, but the problem is that the big tournaments where there is a lot of money only happen on weekends, although there is little chance of winning, but it's always good and better to play on those days.

For a regular player, playing on weekdays and weekends is common. In the case of a recreational player, taking advantage of only the highest guarantees on weekends should be more interesting. The number of players increases significantly on weekends, which increases the variance and the field of tournaments accordingly. To have consistent results we should try to decrease this variance by playing lower faithful tournaments, which will be easier during the week.
