Bounty Freeroll Tournaments

Out of the big 4 sites playing there quit some time I have never seen a bounty tournament free roll with no buy in where the prize pool gets divided 50/50 has anyone heard or been a part of such a tournament

Never heard of any such thing, besides that would majorly dilute the prizepool given most usual freerolls from the sites themselves only run 25 - 100$ or so, and if a site like ftp, for example, that has 3k ppl in a 100$ freeroll, kinda hard to do it as a bounty tourny (given the bounty in any bounty game is an amount as part of the registration, so each player entering has a bounty). Only way it would seem to make sense was if the $$ of the freeroll was determined based on the number of entrants, perhaps maybe like a 1k with a 1k entrant cap and so each player would have a 50c bounty and then 500 towards the prizes (or more if didn't hit the cap to take up half the 1k total from entrants). Clear as mud, per my thoughts on it.

Seems would be doable, but would have to be a fair size freeroll prize pool as mentioned, and have a cap on the # of players to do a proper devide 50/50.

I don't understand how this would even work, and why a site would want to lose that much money. unless the bounties were like a penny or something lol then the prizes itself would be dwindled down to nothing ontop of paying out nothing already. the best free rolls ive ever seen but havnt played are cardschat, that 3k free roll looked cool, I didn't get to partake in it though,

Or do you mean like few years ago there was an bounty freeroll on pokerstars in which the player who knocked out one finnish pro ( cannot remember who he was) got the ticket to 3k€ worth live tournament. BTW the prize for the first prize was about fifty bucks. It was very funny game.

PS did do a bounty freeroll a few months ago.

It was a password freeroll that you got listening to talksport, the bounty was whoever took out the PS star, got the bounty.

Is that what you are talking about?

I would love for a small buy in bounty MTT with the CC mods and old timers Always thought that would be some fun to be had.

ahh, that would make more sense (if this is what he meant), my initial thought on a bounty tournament was more like how the ko games are because back home we had tournies that were bounty's where everyone had an option for a bounty.

But yes a specific poker pro or something in the tournament and a bounty specifically on their head, makes sense but guess will see what OP was thinking.

Its makes sense if the free roll is 1K and above and a limit on the amount of players the only ones I saw on PS was the twitter online followers and depositors free rolls where there were bounties on PS Pros

I play in many rooms, but I've never seen such tournament.

hard pressed to find even a mico buyin one.....I love bounties..warrior poker...the best

I think bounty tournaments will be there only if there is a buyin , even if its like $1 , else how can we collect the bounty ? There should be some input fromt he players in the prize pool . then its possivble
