Hellow guys,
I was reading an article titled "NLHE Cash games vs SNGs - Which is the most profitable?" at sitandgoplanet.com. Here is the link http://www.sitandgoplanet.com/sitandgo/sng_bankroll/NLHE_Cash_Games_vs_Sngs.html
...kindly read it..
Based on their assumptions (which is: "a pro playing 3 or 4 cash game tables totaling for 200 hands per hour and at an average of 5 ptbb/hour) you get the hourly rate of $10. (calculation = NL25 (Big Blind = 25c) – 5 PTBB per 100 = $10 / Hour)
Either I totally suck at mathematics (which is ok to me
) or their calculation is incorrect (and if it is correct, can somebody tell me how they get to the result of $10/hour?)
Because I figured out that the hourly rate should be $5 instead of $10. Why?
-Big blind = 25c or 0,25
-5 PTbb per 100 stands for 5 poker tracker big bets per 100 hands or/equals to 10 big blinds per 100.
-Therefore 0,25 x 10 = $2,5 per 100 hands.
-But the pro is playing 3 or 4 tables totaling 200 hands per hour. So $2,5 x 2 = $5.
Can somebody help me please?
