I'll see what the schedule is and what my wife thinks. It's more her trip than mine.
We fly into Edmonton June 6 and drive to Athabaska. Grad is on the 7th, then drive to Edmonton to spend the day on the 8th before an early flight back the morning of the 9th.

I talked to my wife and she's up for meeting for a drink in the evening on Friday, if you guys are still up for it. She's a lot more social than I am so it wasn't a difficult job convincing her.
Tickets are already booked and other things (like babysitting) are scheduled around the leave and return times so those things are pretty much set. It's pretty much an in-and-out kinda trip. My wife was going to go by herself but we haven't gone anywhere just the two of us for a few years so I'm tagging along.
She's just finished her masters in distance education at Athabaska, and has never been there or met any of her profs or advisors, so that's the main reason for her wanting to attend the grad ceremonies.

Good thing my 8 month pregnant wife has a good sense of humour when I phoned for a ride at 2 AM. There are a TON of stories that my wife could tell you, but I honestly can't remember the conversation on the way back from the bar to verify if she was really telling the truth. Nothing she said really surprised me, as it is well known that LoDog and I are a comedy due when drunk. LOL
