Cannabis stocks or poker

I have been thinking about stepping away from the game ( 80% not 100% ) for a while and rolling my poker bankroll in Cannabis stocks. I see these stock going nuts the next 5 to 8 years. I really think I can 5x the $50 per hour average I make grinding poker a few days a weeks over the next several years.. Any thoughts ?

yea canabis is the new industry opening up. Homefully they legalize more drugs to get rid of the underworld using them to make profit.

Good luck do not smoke to much of that supposed profit.

I don't see how they ever go that high though because someone can simply grow it or buy it from someone they know where its cheaper than buying it at a store.

Hello.
Although cannabis is very popular in my country, I personally do not smoke. I believe that any drugs badly affect the player's progress. Please note that predominantly successful players do not have bad habits. In my opinion, any sport will have a better impact on your success.

In Ukraine, they will go to prison for this, although a lot of people smoke cannabis. It's better not to waste money in poker, but to win through freerolls, you just need patience.

I have never used cannabis and believe that drugs and poker are not compatible.an athlete who uses drugs will never become a successful athlete, so it's the same in poker.

I might have to go with cannabis stocks because when they legalize. Stock will go through the roof.

The same way you see some stocks going up a lot and outperforming your poker game, the same there are hot stocks anytime, past, present, future, always will be. It's not just cannabis and the end.

In essence, stocks always outperformed poker. If you know what you're doing (but the same is true for poker, so it's not a disadvantage that you have to know what you're doing, the same way poker is learned with effort, stocks are learned with effort, same thing.)

This is very evident when you look at rich people. The richest poker player is a joke in comparison to the richest stock picker.

Also stocks don't have to require time, the most valuable asset of all.
So the poker returns are much lower, because you have to pay some of the profits for the time that is lost making them.

I support your thinking. The same way I did myself, I buy companies-real assets that make society work, not pixelated virtual chips on a computer screen-lottery tickets.

I think I heard there is a 5 year supply of weed on hand if there were no more grown starting today. That kind of tells me weed stocks don't have much room for growth. I think some poker gaming stocks, or casinos have a good outlook. I can imagine them getting a lot of traffic once this pandemic is in the past.
