Cardschat Summer League - Win some great prizes!

We are finishing up the Spring League and are now taking sign-ups for the Summer league. You can sign up in this thread:

Here's an example of what you could win:

The benefits for the league members would be:

• Opportunities to win money based on finishing place in the league.
• Money will be added to the bonus game.
• Opportunity to win a prize by being the MVP of the session
• A freeroll at the end of each session for league members only (prob approx $200)
• Sponsor prizes donated by sponsors

This is the prize fund for the Spring Session we are having now - the Fall Session prizes will depend on the number of players:

200 -1st place finishing team (based on total points at end of session)
$125 -2nd place
$ 75 -3rd place
$ 50 - 4th place
$ 25 - 5th place
$ 25 - 6th place


Coaching session with Collin Moshman - 1st place finisher in bonus game
Coaching session with member of Collin's team - 1st place finisher in freeroll
Coaching session with member of Collin's team - 1st place finisher in Captain's Freeroll

30 day DragTheBar memberships for each team member

The 1st place finishing team will have a choice of the above 2 prizes and the other will go to 2nd place.

(if you win a coaching session and can not use it then it will go to the next person in the tournament standings)

MVP - a copy of Dusty Schmidt's book - "Treat Your Poker Like a Business" (MVP will be the player who has the highest average base points* scored and must play a minimum of 9 games to be eligible)

I'm pretty sure I'm in. Question though, will the events be at FT or PS this time around? I'm hoping for FT. I've been pissed that I've missed out on the last couple but I didn't have the time I should have now.

We really have to do the weekly events at PS so we can set the games up ourselves. The freeolls and bonus games are always at FT.

I can help anyone with transfers from FT to PS. (or vice versa)

We have 31 members signed up already so off to a good start. We will probably go up to 60 again - so there are plenty of spots left.

What are the buy ins like? I'm interested in signing up and I can float the 5$.. But, I only have $80 in my BR and $13+ coming from this weeks rakeback, so I don't think I'm rolled for it. Maybe next season I'll be ready..

Also, when is the sign up deadline?

The weekly buy-ins are $3.30 and we will take sign-up through approximately the end of June/early July.

What about the times and days of the games?

Mon - 5pm
Tues - 3pm
Wed - 2pm
Thurs - 8pm
Fri - 8:30p

There will be 55 games in the session and each member needs to play a minimum of 7 to be eligible for post season games and prizes.
