After you make your 15th post, can you just register for Cardchat tournies and freerolls? How often do you have them and how many people usually get in

No. It's not. Loyal members are a select group that are hand-picked by the mods and Nick, along with nominations from other loyalers. It's not something you achieve automatically. There are a number of factors that come into play when we choose loyalers, but bottom line is those that are the cream of the crop, so to speak.

Center to center 2 1/2 inches on my 17" monitor. I guess we can figure out what size monitor Mr Stickler has. :D :D

I agree this is a confusing site, not user friendly, And my pleas for help have gone unanswered. Of course one could argue that I am a dummy, I did not grow up with computers, I can remember a time of no tv's, But there are some sites I cannot navigate, like Railbirds, I find this site hard to use

to Rottieowner

Thanks for the offer to help. My questions will highlight my "Dummyism". I can't figure out how to stare a new thread, When I hit "New Thread" I just get a list of new threads already posted. I did a thread as a newcomer because after I registered a nice link popped up for me to post a newby one. But I need step by step directions now.

Since I can post replies I asked this questions on a thread a few weeks ago and got no answer. I then tried to send a message to the administrator who sent the original welcome, When I hit send it says message sent and my inbox increases by one and I never get an answer from the administer so I guess when I hit send I just sent it to myself!! And I can't figure how to read saved messages so I don't know for sure that the one I sent goes to that box but I don't think it goes to the administrator because I can't imagine not getting an answer to a plea for help. Thanks for your interrest

Hi L&M (you don't mind if I call you L&M, do you? :)). Let me see if I can help.

First off, if you sent the private message to Nick, it's not that he's ignoring you, it's just that he gets literally swamped with pm's and is also a very busy fellow, so he probably hasn't seen it yet. If you have a specific question, you're better off pm-ing one of the moderators; either myself, Dorkus Malorkus, Irexes, or Jack Daniels would be happy to help.

Now, to get to the crux of the matter. It sounds like what you are clicking on is "New Posts" found in the header bar. That will not take you to make a New Thread. That particular link shows you all the newest posts that you haven't read yet. So you won't be able to start a new thread that way.

To start a new thread, first decide which section you want to post one in. On the main page, below each section header is a brief description of what types of topics should go there. Click the link for the section that you chose to post a thread in. Near the top of the section, you will see a "New Thread" button. Click on that, and voila!--start your thread! :)

I would also suggest that you read through the Rules & FAQ, as there is a lot of info in there to help you along the way. Of course, you can always feel free to message me should you have any questions.

Hope this helps! :)
