Cardschat vs. Intellipoker

Lately I have noticed that many people have the Intellipoker logo as there picture on pokerstars and recently I found out that Intellipoker is a forum. So, my suggestion is that we all put the Cardschat logo on our pokerstars picture so that we can not only advertise for the forum that has been so good to us but also recognize each other at the table.

I would love to display the CC logo, but when i first joined my wife thought she would surprise me and she put a pic of moneymaker on my account. I got so much S**T for the pic, and didn't really like it, it took several emails to poker stars begging to remove it. They tell me now i cant put another pic on, apparently i had my chance at 1 pic, and lost it :(

P.S. After all that, I still say my wife is the BEST :)

Joe tried to change his to Cardschat Poker Forums and they rejected it as advertising. So why can Railbird's do it?

Does anyone have a Cardschat logo that has been accepted there recently?

Uh, you can change your avatar via the Pokerstars software. I changed my avatar a few weeks ago, and it was no problem.

I changed my avatar, and got a message saying it had been sent for approval. I later received an e-mail saying it had not been approved because it advertised a website - and I used the poker forums CC logo, not .com.

I have re-submitted the application again. We'll see what happens.

well the reason u can have an intelli poker avatar and not a cc avatar is becuase intelli is a site sponsored by ps, so it is in their interest that the site gets hits, they dont care about us (obv)

I have seen a CC logo at our games - i think it was Arahel-Jazz who had it.

well remember the railbirds had that promo that if they use the avatar they got double their earning, they must of have contacted stars and were allowed to do this, plus hasnt stars changed their policy and is trying to remove the rb avatars?

Pokerstars didn't used to enforce their "no advertising avatars" rule.
Lately they've been enforcing it. So if you had a CC avatar 6 months ago it would have gone through, but not now.

Like Pantin said, Intellipoker is affiliated with Pokerstars. In fact, if an Intellipoker player uses that avatar I think they get a few free FPP's per day of play.

Yes railbirds had a promo with stars, now over... and stars won't take any more railbirds avatars now.

Their terms clearly state that you can only change your avatar once. So you can set an initial one, then change it, then that's it.

A: Yes, you may change your image by selecting "Select/Change Image" from the Account menu. However, you can only change your image once, so we recommend that you consider your choice carefully.

i've never changed my logo but i had friends tell me they emaill support an they let them change their logo:deal:

I've not seen a cc logo on stars before and after reading this thread today I bump into one, don't know who it is on here mind they didn't answer in the chat.

LMAO wow thats me. I'm still at this table. Sorry for not answering your chat but I started this thread and then right after changed avatar to Cardschat. Went right through. No problems. Just took a little while and then there it was.

LOL, bit of a coincidence, I joined the table, saw it and thought funny given the thread so posted back here! I can't change mine again though but I will try emailing them.
