For me tournaments are more profitable than cash games, but I play cash games at minimum stakes, so that's probably why.

I play in tournaments, but I began to notice that I am very exhausted on them and do not spend much money on them . Here I think maybe I should go to the cache ? Share your vision ?:deal:
They are both good at winning cash. For tournaments, you need a little patience to reach the cash stage. As for the cash, you can win and get up at any time you want.

I usually play, tournaments and cash games, when I have enough time my option is tournaments, which always happens, now with little time I play cash games, with limits of values to be played. In my opinion, we both need strategy, patience and attention.

Cash, that is Zoom games, is more profitable for me. But I also consider the time spent on it. In tornaments I play less hands.

If you're the winning player in both field, it will be decided by hourly win-rate. You should go with what you're better with. But I'm not sure how you'd recognize what you're better at, since variance is so high in poker, esp. in MTTs.

Honestly, you should play whichever type of poker you enjoy the most. The decision also depends on how much time you can invest in both studying and playing.

If you have no interest in studying the game and want to gamble to potentially win some bigger cash prizes, you will probably find tournament poker more interesting.

If learning and getting better as a player is something that appeals to you, or you are strapped for time and don’t have the ability to dedicate hours to each session, then cash poker is going to be better the better option.

I drew conclusions for myself and realized that tournaments are more profitable for me. That's why I prefer tournaments.

simple, if you have a good bankroll, play any kind of game, if you have a small bankroll go for tournaments.
if you don't have the time and bankroll, don't play at high stakes tables because poker is patience.
if you don't have bankroll, money, and you're learning to play, just go to freerool.
if you have the money, time, and money and you play very well, you already have the answer.

Cash games make money faster but you can lose faster too. I base it on how much time I think I have to play, tournaments when I have lots of time and cash when I don’t but it’s about the play for me not the money although that’s a bonus lol

If you know how to play, then you can win in both MTT and cash games. I like the cash game more, because the variance is much less here.

I think spin and go are more profitable since you win more in less time, while tournaments and cash games take longer in proportion to time.

The only person who can answer this question is the player. Is cash game tables going to be "profitable" for someone who only plays tournaments? A cash game player "studies" the game of poker with usually 100 BB's stacks, tournaments have many different stack sizes and ICM considerations to consider.

I am trying to point out that yes, they are both poker but they are very different. Poker does NOT become "profitable" because you choose to sit at a table. You must work on your game, so if you hate the idea of studying for tournaments, you probably won't be profitable and the same goes for cash games. YOU are the only one who can decide which format you will be willing to play long hours and work on that format.

I will always say it depends on what type of bank roll you have, if we are playing from scratch, tournaments are better because the benches add up more and more because the tickets are very cheap, then that has to wait for good hands because in the end chance is good and bad helps us and plunges us into the tables to play and lose or win money.

I like to play tournaments. Because people make mistakes and can not go away after hitting a big pot. For me is more profitable. I need some equilibrium on cash games.

I think the cash game is more profitable but it is also riskier. With a tourney you can pay a small fee to play and win a decent amount of money. In a cash game you are playing with your own stack of cash and there is the risk of losing your own money faster.
I prefer to play in tourneys in which you can win big bucks if you go near the top of the standings.

Lately I have a hard time finding time to play the tournaments, so I have no choice but to play the cash game, although I find little time for cash game either.
Tournaments require more time, you risk less money than in the cash game, the prizes are higher, but it's harder to win, while for the cash game you don't have to spend that much time, you manage to make some smaller winnings faster, but you risk more money for less prize.
I personally like to play both tournaments and cash game.
