Cbetting Rainbow paired flops

What are the nuances you include in your cbetting strategy? I tend to cbet boards that hit my range hard, but there are a lot of situations (let's say the board is 223R), where I opened and got called. I know my opponent has nothing and I figure I can take it down, but they typically know I'm doing this. How should I interact with paired rainbow flops?
