CC Holiday Charity Challenge Prop - 2015

It's that time of the year again folks. Here's my annual challenge.

Getting close to the holidays and CC'ers are always generous to their favorite charities.

I'll donate 10% of my profits from November 15 till December 15 or $150 (whichever is higher), to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier.

I challenge all CC'ers to join in. Any amount, over any amount of time between now and Jan 1. Post here what your pledge is and later post the results you attained.

I am playing in a charity tournament at Talking Stick on 11/21. $25 of every $60 buy-in goes to benefit United Food Bank.

Great thread! Awesome to see members being so generous with their winnings! I remember seeing this type of thread last year and planned on participating, but never got around to it. I regularly donate to St. Jude's but this will give me inspiration to grind harder, in hopes to help a worthy cause. Can't wait to check back on this thread to see how many members are donating and to what causes.

I am playing a charity event tomorrow night for the NSPCA - no telling how much I will spend lol.

I better limit mine to that this year.

Talking Stick Charity tournament today.

Good crowd. I survived about an hour. Didn't (read: not enough $$) rebuy.

Highlight of the day: QJos early position, bliinds 50/100. raise 200. one caller. Heads up. Flop J1010. I check, villian bets 200, I re-raise to 600, he shoves for about 3K. I told him if he hit his 10... then folded. He showed Q10.

Last hand 88 < 98, in S100/200 B. all in 15K preflop. donk to my right open folds J8. 9 in the window on the flop. Done.

Will try again in December at the Christmas Toy Drive tournament on Dec. 19th. Hopefully, I will be able to see the cards a little better when my eye heals up...

(yes, I basically played today with one eye)

Half way thru the challenge and haven't been able to get much volume in. Only +$64 in profit so far.

Wish I had taken a pic of the glass wall that fronts the Talking Stick Poker Room after the Toy Drive tournament. The window is about 30-feet long, and it was stacked well over 5 feet high with toys.

Awesome sight for the holiday spirit.
