Checking

Hello I have a simple, and for some maybe even stupid question., but its source is my inexperience with live poker.

In many videos I saw people double knock the poker table to express "check" , but some players knocked only once. Is it a difference?
Should I knock only once, or double, or it doesnt really matter?

Both really mean the same thing. Just do whatever comes most naturally to you. I have also played with people who twirl a finger to symbolize check. Some people like to verbally announce "check". Whatever feels best is good

There is no difference once or twice the knocks the main thing so that the game went well and there were no problems and everyone rested
