Chris Ferguson - from 0 to 35k

Years ago I read online about Chris Ferguson starting from 0 then working his way up to 35k. It seems to have taken him a very long time. Does anyone know of any other online player that worked their way up from $0 to something substantial and how they did it?

Well for one poker was different many years ago. A lot of the original online stars have stories about very low buy in and working there way up the ranks

He really did it - I believe some people who were members here at the time actually played with him in some of the micro games he was playing on the way up, and had screenshots of it.

Lots of players on here have run bankrolls up from freerolls too. I did it that way when I started playing online.
