Does anyone else not believe him when he says he was up to playing 25$/$50NL on the way from 1 to 20,000? If he was there already he could buy-in no more than $1000-just 20 big blinds. Even if he wanted to buy-in for the full 5% why would he not go to 5/10 right away where he could have 100 blinds instead of 20?

heard this years ago on a fulltilt session i believe. the man is a bankroll genius and everyone would be wise to listen even if the higher tables are enticing. Patience is key.

He sort of proved his theory many years ago in full view of the public.

I say sort of because he handled it oddly. He had his zero to hero account separate from his normal account. SO he was able to do 4 hours of zero to hero, which had to be driving him crazy, then he could go play his normal account at the levels he wanted to play and thus avoid the boredom.
