As understood, when HU specifically, you can state your overall holding or 'hand' but not your specific hole cards, is this the correct interpretation?

For example:

"I hit the nine" is ok when holding 92o on a A93 flop.

But...

"I have 92" would not be ok.

Is this correct?

Another example:

"I boated" is ok holding KK on 337AK board

Whereas...

"I've got kings" would not be ok.

Can anyone confirm/deny/elaborate or explain this to me, I.E. whether I have this correct or not please?

Obviously ou can only go anywhere near this when two-handed only, any more players live in the hand beyond HU and you cannot say any of this.

Asking for a friend. ;) ❤️

Howdy. Cannot confirm or deny as haven't heard of such "rule". If there is such, wondering what could be penalty for any violation? In live poker, some peeps announce their hands. Its up to you to believe or not. Pay for a showdown & find out its usually a lie. :ROFLMAO:

2. In heads-up Events or when down to the last two Participants in a Tournament, Participants may speak freely
regarding the contents of their hands

This is exception is described on page 20:

If I read the rule or particulary this exception correctly then you can speak about your hand without using specific terminology.

The "Gold" rule is a play on the traditional "Golden Rule," which encourages treating others as you would like to be treated. The twist with the "Gold" rule is to treat others as they would like to be treated, acknowledging and respecting their preferences and perspectives. It emphasizes empathy and understanding individual needs.

I treat people respectful, nice and polite right up until they show me they deserve to be treated otherwise. Being 6'4 around 250lbs, in solid shape and rough around the edges I look like a big grizzly bear I typically don't have many issues lol. What most don't know from just looking at me is I'd much rather prefer being the big cuddy teddy bear over the grizzly with bite. Majority of my grizzly bears are long past and from what seems like another lifetime thankfully.

As for rules and ethics I believe in fair play but will stretch the grey areas(but still play within the written rules) as that's what any competition/sport is about.

Cheers!!!
