Nobody should ever consume alcohol, sugar, foods that are high in saturated fats or be out in the sun for too long either (But you also can't not be out in the Sun so you have to watch out for that too)

While we're at it we probably just shouldn't even be gambling.

Redbull For The Win, plus we need to keep Max Verstappen paid over at RedBull Racing

Also I didn't know they let you set up your sodastream or a citrus cutting board at the table in the casino, I'll have to give it a try.

Yes there's lots of things we shouldn't do, but I feel particualrly strongly about energy drinks!!

However as ginger, I have to fully agreee that I should never be out in the sun!! :ROFLMAO:

Luckily my local casino has fizzy water and lemons

Nothing but water…as a heart patient, I have one coffee a day…never tried energy drinks.

As for energy drinks, I try to avoid them whenever possible, since, first, they're bad for your health, and second, they can lead to decisions you'll regret later. I generally drink a little coffee, and to stay hydrated, I drink a lot of water. I think it's essential to stay well hydrated during long tournaments, but always keep in mind the importance of making good decisions during your plays

I'm not a caffeine drinker (I talk a lot and FAST, and adding caffeine to the mix would be crazy! :)).

I think staying hydrated is really important, so I do drink sparkling water or plain water at the table.

For me, keeping hydrated during lengthy poker games is my priority, therefore I usually drink water and occasionally fruit tea. I think it keeps me feeling energized and clear headed without making me nervous. The teas fruity flavor is also a welcome break from plain water. You know, it's all about choosing anything that doesnt divert attention away from the game. Although I sometimes drink coffee, particularly in the early morning or when Im feeling a bit lethargic, Im careful not to go too far. Its that delicate balance between a little lift and the sensation that my heart is about to burst out of my chest.
However, I have never truly been a fan of energy beverages. A while ago, I gave one a shot, but I couldnt concentrate on the cards since it seemed like my hands were trembling. Certainly not the kind of advantage Im seeking at the tables! However, I mostly use tea and water because they are simple. Maintains my motivation without causing me to experience needless highs and lows.

Personally, I start with coffee to lock in early, then switch to water once I’m deep into the grind. Too much caffeine and I start playing too fast or get jittery, which is the last thing you want at the tables. I’ve tried energy drinks before, but they usually give me a short boost followed by a crash.

Recently, I have been drinking only Chinese tea. Although more recently, 1 kg of coffee beans per month was my norm.

Cardiologists are increasingly saying that the surge in cardiovascular diseases among young people is linked, in part, to the consumption of energy drinks.
