Most of these high roller and influencers do you think they make as much as they display or mostly it's royalties from the poker, betting and gambling companies that fund them

They make own money. Most of them. After they did some, they get funded, but mainly money comes from their results I'd bet.

Some players make their living primarily from playing poker. They usually play high-stakes online games or private cash games. Others do win at the tables, but they supplement their income through YouTube, Twitch, training courses, coaching, affiliate deals, and sponsorships. Over time, creating content often becomes more profitable and far less stressful than playing millions of hands. And others no longer play enough volume to demonstrate that they are still consistent winners, and instead make a living through a combination of advertising, partnerships with poker sites, affiliate commissions, invitations to events, and content creation.

They also receive money from contracts, but they rely primarily on their results.

I'm absolutely certain that most of them live off sponsorships, affiliate links and course sales, after I understood how online poker works, I realized that most of these guys' promises are false, it's all illusion. It is possible to make money playing online, but not in the way they sell it in the videos.

I think it's usually a mix of both. Some of the top players definitely make a lot from poker, but many influencers also earn through sponsorships, affiliate deals, and partnerships with poker or betting sites. What you see online isn't always the full picture, so it's hard to judge someone's income just by their lifestyle.

Do you know any? Of the ones you know, have they revealed their income statements to you?
How does Online Poker work and how did that have you believing it's all illusion?

Hello, yes, I know several of them, in fact, some who "mysteriously" stopped playing after losing sponsorships from big brands, went to work on something else. If Poker is as easy and profitable as they sell it in the videos, why didn't they go on to live exclusively off their game results? The math doesn't add up. Read carefully, I didn't say making money with Poker is an illusion, I said the way they sell it is the illusion. Yes, it is possible to make money in Poker, but it's much more complicated than it seems, you need an almost unshakeable mentality, you need to withstand the down swings and bad beats, and after all that, when you finally win, you have to subtract your losses, resulting in something around 10% to 15% final profit. And I should mention, I already played Online Poker "professionally", this isn't just speculation, I was literally Skin in the Game.
